EATING GRAPES TO STAY YOUNGER AND HEALTHIER



The public has kept vineyards since man began to cultivate fruits and vegetables. They are mentioned in the Bible as a good source for the stomach. Many people no doubt know people who cultivate grapes on a small scale. 

Grapes are a good way to get cancer fighting properties into your body. If you have ever wondered what the big deal was, you know now. Some believe grapes can help baldness, cancer and other debilitating diseases.

Grapes carry an enzyme called Resveratrol it is a natural antioxidant that influences the genes that control aging. Resveratrol activates enzymes that slow aging, thus increasing DNA stability which keeps you healthier for a longer period of time. This natural chemical is in a higher content in red grapes. The grape helps slow blood clots and is good for the heart. The Resveratrol acts best in non- alcoholic wines.

The Liver’s inability to function due to pesticides is documented. A greater rate of pesticides is found on imported grapes, wherever possible use organic grapes. Grapes are good for keeping Cholesterol down in the body. Concord Grapes are the highest in antioxidant but there are other fruits that are higher in antioxidants, cranberries being one of them. Grapes help to reduce the occurrence of colon cancer. The skin of the grape carries a natural anti fungal element that helps the Colon System stay healthy.
